#LAURA MERCIER LUMIERE FOUNDATION SWATCHES SKIN#
In natural lighting and under the hospital lights at work it matches my more pink-leaning skin just fine. Under my bathroom lighting it seems to pull a little yellow, but this shade is more of a neutral shade on my skin. This is 1.5 pumps squirted onto one of my candle lids:

Here are the ingredients (click HERE for the CosDNA analysis): I did feel special holding it, not going to lie. The bottle itself is made of heavy-feeling glass. It has a very solid-feeling snug-fitting cap that pulls and twists off to reveal a solid metal pump. Which is good, because it’s $48 for 1oz!!! This foundation feels expensive when you pick it up. I felt it didn’t do much besides creating a nice, hydrated base for the foundation it didn’t hide or minimize my pores, it didn’t blur anything, but it did add a touch of subtle glow and my skin felt soft, smooth and prepped for make-up: It feels like a light, hydrating gel-type lotion that absorbs very quickly. It has a very light floral scent that doesn’t linger very long at all, which is nice. Here is the description on the back on the tube, the twist-off cap end and the product squeezed onto my hand: I love that it has some real skincare ingredients like Retinyl Palmitate and honey among others! Water (Aqua), Tidecyl Neopentanoate, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Lanolin, Diazolidinyl Urea, Triethanolamine, Methylparaben, Carbomer, Propylparaben, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Allantoin, Retinyl Palmitate, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Tocopherol, Cymbopogon Martini Oil, Citrus Auraantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Geranium Maculatum Oil, Honey Extract (Mel), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwi) Fruit Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract, Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Red 40 (CI 16035). The Primer, on the other hand, is just a plastic tube – granted, it is a sturdy-feeling plastic tube compared to, say, the Wet N Wild squeeze tubes, and I have nothing against squeeze tubes, but still… at $38 for 1.75oz, that’s $21.70 per oz, which is expensive and I feel deserves more than a plastic squeeze tube… unless the product deserves the price…īelow are the ingredients (click HERE to see the CosDNA analysis): The packaging of the foundation is very sturdy glass with sturdy-feeling metal twist-off cap when you have it in your hand it has a good weight to it. So, I received the Laura Mercier Flawless Lumiere Foundation and they also threw in the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer along with it, which I was excited about! I’m so excited to try out this foundation!! I received this complimentary from Influenster, but my thoughts below are my own! I used both for a few days before reviewing them in order to really get a feel for them, so this is not a first impression.
